Due to adverse weather expected on Aug. 17 travel to/from/through New York City area airports may be impacted.
Delta and KLM issued waivers for flights originally scheduled for New York’s Kennedy and LaGuardia, Newark, Newburgh and White Plains on Aug. 17. Rebooked travel must begin by Aug. 20, 2018.
Other carriers may follow suit as they evaluate forecasted conditions in regards to their operations.
Other airports in the region could also be impacted by the storm. As a reminder flight delays in the New York area could cause a ripple effect for other flights around the country. Travelers are advised to monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary.
