Adverse winter weather continues to stretch across the United States and Canada impacting travel in multiple locations. Many airlines have waivers in place. Each carrier’s policy varies with dates and airports covered. Airlines continue to update their waivers as the winter weather develops so customers with travel plans over the next few days should continue to check with the airlines for the most up-to-date waiver offerings along with current flight status.  A brief summary of airline waivers is as follows:

Alaska Airlines

Feb 11: Seattle

Allegiant

 Feb11: Multiple airports across the United States, typically in the northern half of the country but some exceptions apply 

 American

 Feb 11-12: Select airports in the Pacific Northwest
 Feb 12: Select airports in the Northeast

Delta

Feb 11: Select airports in the Pacific Northwest
Feb 11: Select airports in the Upper Midwest
Feb 12: Select airports in the Northeast

JetBlue

Feb 11: Seattle
Feb 12: Select airports in the Northeast

Southwest

 Feb 11: Select airports in the Pacific Northwest and central Midwest
 Feb 11-12: Select airports in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic
 Feb 11-13: Select airports in the Northeast

United

Feb 11: Select airports in the Pacific Northwest
Feb 11: Chicago
Feb 12: Select airports in the Northeast

WestJet

 Feb 11-14: multiple airports across Canada with varying date ranges

Other airports could be impacted and other carriers may also offer waivers. 

Check with your airline or your Adelman travel consultant for specific rebooking or cancelation options in regards to these waivers.

As a reminder flight delays at hub airports could cause a ripple effect for other flights around the country. Travelers are advised to monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary.
