Nationwide protests are expected to continue across Ecuador.

Some airlines have issued waivers for flights to Quito and Guayaquil as follows:

Aero Mexico: through Oct. 9
American Airlines: through Oct. 10
Copa Airlines: through Oct. 11
JetBlue: through Oct. 10
KLM: through Oct. 11

These waivers could be extended and other airlines may also offer waivers.

Check with your airline or your Adelman travel consultant for specific rebooking or cancelation options.

Travelers are advised to not only monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary but ground transportation arrangements should also be monitored as public transportation has been impacted and it may take you longer to travel to/from the airport.  Travelers are also advised to avoid public demonstrations.
