Due to forecasted winter weather March 20-22 travel may be impacted on flights to/from/through the Northeast including airports as far south as the Washington D.C. area up through Maine.
Airlines including Alaska, American, Delta, Southwest and United have issued waivers. Each carrier’s policy varies in regards to included airports and dates.

Alaska March 20 – 22, 2018 March 28, 2018
American March 20 – 21, 2018 March 25, 2018
Delta March 20 – 21, 2018 March 25, 2018
United March 20 – 21, 2018 March 24, 2018
Southwest has issued their waivers in tiers as follows:
Washington D.C. area and Pennsylvania March 20 – 21
LaGuardia, Newark and Islip March 21
Boston, Hartford, Manchester, Portland and Providence March 21-22
Rebooked travel must be complete within 14 days of the original travel date.
These waivers may be revised based on the track and severity of the storm. Other carriers may follow suit as they evaluate forecasted conditions in regards to their operations.
As a reminder, disruptions in the Northeast could cause a ripple effect triggering issues for flights elsewhere. Travelers are advised to monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary.
