As civil unrest in Nicaragua continues airlines have extended waivers for travel to/from/through Managua as follows:

American Airlines’ waiver was extended to June 30. Customers can change their origin or destination city to Belize City, Belize (BZE), Guatemala City, Guatemala (GUA), Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR), Panama City, Panama (PTY), San Salvador, El Salvador (SAL), San Pedro, Honduras (SAP), San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO), or Tegucigalpa, Honduras (TGU) Rebooked travel must occur by July 30.

Delta’s waiver includes for travel to Managua through June 24. Rebooked travel must commence by July 1, 2018

United’s waiver has been updated to include travel to Managua through June 24. The carrier is making varying allowances based on whether the rescheduled travel occurs before or after July 1, 2018.  

Current waivers may be further extended or other carriers may follow suit as they evaluate the situation in regards to their operations.

Travelers are advised to not only monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary but should also monitor the situation on the ground, being on the watch for demonstrations or other situations that could impact your safety or cause disruption.
