Hilton adds Connected Room technology

Hilton Hotels announced that it is adding to its Connected Room strategy. Guests who have the Hilton Honors app will be able to use their smartphones as a remote for lighting, temperature and television at select hotels. Hilton is in the process of rolling out this new enhancement across multiple Hilton brands and properties so that several thousand rooms will be equipped by the end of the year.
