Experience charming Italy with your entire family

Multigenerational travel continues to be a fun and meaningful way for families to spend time together.  Italy is not only a welcoming destination, it offers a wide variety of experiences perfect for a family trip that will provide lasting memories. Adelman’s Deana Crouch recently took her family on a 7-day Globus escorted tour in Italy. According to Deana, “Escorted tours are not what they used to be. There were five multigenerational groups on this Taste of Italy trip.  It was awesome as the tour really did have something for everyone.”

Highlights of the Globus Taste of Italy tour included guided sightseeing stops and walking tours, so participants could experience Italy’s famous sites while soaking in the culture in Rome, Tuscany, Florence and Venice.

“The history, arts and breathtaking scenery appeal to every generation,” said Deana.  “Plus, who doesn’t want to go on a private gondola ride through the canals of Venice. St Mark’s Square was also an incredible experience.  And shopping!  I bought several items for very reasonable prices.”

“A gondola ride is a must”

Deana and her family also enjoyed the winetasting and awesome dining experiences. “The gelato is also amazing!” Deana said.

Just one of many delicious dining experiences

Another great benefit of traveling with a Globus group is that throughout this guided trip Globus participants had VIP access, so rather than waiting in long lines, Deana and her family could skip ahead of the crowds and see the famous sights right away. They then had more time to participate in optional excursions or explore and experience more of Italy’s endearing culture on their own.
