Families can thrill or chill this summer with RCCL’s new Perfect Day at CocoCay

The newly opened CocoaCay is considered to be in a league of its own with its fantastic new waterpark. The park features the 135-foot tall Daredevil’s Tower waterslide along with the Slingshot on Splash Summit raft ride, which climbs a nearly vertical wall. CocoCay also boasts 12 additional waterslides. There is also the always popular wave pool and an adventure pool full of aquatic obstacles for adrenaline junkies to explore. Younger children can have a blast in the fountains, pools and drench buckets at Splashaway Bay or seek out their inner pirate on the large Spanish galleon full of water cannons and pint-sized slides.

Beyond the waterpark area, thrill seekers can also take RCCL’s helium balloon 400 feet up in the air for a spectacular view of CocoCay or sail across the island at lightning-speed on the three-station zip line.

When it’s time to chill, guests can stroll along the scenic shaded walkways or settle in under a colorful umbrella at one of the island’s several white sand beaches or around the tropical Oasis Lagoon. Grab a bite to eat at one of the island’s three restaurants or sip on a festive beverage from the swim up bar in the largest freshwater pool in the Bahamas. There are plenty of loungers to relax on throughout Chill Island or rentable private cabanas for an even more serene experience. In December CocaCay will launch their Bora Bora style overwater cabanas at Coco Beach Club.
