AdelmanSummit Meetings, Events and Incentives

A stunning secret hideway beckons all year around

Sunset over Payette Lake, McCall ID

Recently the AdelmanSummit team returned from a long weekend in the “secret hideaway” of McCall, Idaho, an ideal location for a team retreat, meeting or incentive.

This “less-known, less-crowded, less-expensive” destination is a wonderful alternative to Vail or Aspen. The mountain retreat of McCall, Idaho provides visitors with an authentically intimate experience.  Located 100 miles north of Boise via a scenic 2-hour drive, this thriving community of just over 4,500 residents is a year-round playground for outdoor adventurers who enjoy world-class winter and summer sports or for those who are seeking solace and a relaxing escape.

Brundage Mountain

Set on the banks of Payette Lake and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, McCall is a dream location for recreation. Dubbed “Ski Town USA,” McCall is just minutes from two world-class ski resorts, Brundage Mountain and Tamarack Resort. An average base of 300 plus inches of powdery snow awaits skiers. Lift ticket prices are reasonable and there are no lines. In addition to downhill skiing, the area offers great cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating. Consider a snowmobile trek 20 miles into the backcountry to a natural hot springs area, or enjoy the indoor/outdoor spas at the Shore Lodge. McCall even offers the chance to cheer on several local hockey teams at the ice arena.

Summer on Payette Lake

During other times of the year, visitors can spend hours hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, waterskiing, swimming, boating, white-water rafting or soaking in the spectacular scenery. There is also top-notch golfing at five fantastic golf courses including Jug Mountain Ranch. There is something here for everyone.

Shore Lodge

And after a busy day, relax at one of the area’s great hotels or resorts. Tucked on the shores of Payette Lake, the modern, 4-star Shore Lodge is ideal for a meeting, event or incentive. With 77 guestrooms, three restaurants, a world-class spa and over 15,000 square feet of meeting space, the Lodge has been awarded 2018 Top Trip Advisor status.  Alternatively, the historical Hotel McCall, constructed in 1904, features expansive meeting spaces that share the history of this unique region. McCall and surrounding communities offer a wide variety of accommodations at all budgets for travelers.

McCall is blessed with amazing weather in the winter and summer, beautiful foliage in the fall, a multitude of seasonal festivals, great shopping and dining for all tastes.
