Organizational Changes Strengthen Leadership Team and Position Adelman for Long-Term Growth

(MILWAUKEE, April 5, 2017) – Bob Chaiken, CEO of Adelman Travel, announced today that his role is changing to Vice-Chairman effective May 1, 2017.

Chaiken joined Adelman Travel in 1991 as business manager after working in real estate and as a CPA. He was later named CFO in 1994, COO in 1998, President in 2008 and CEO in 2013.

“Bob and his leadership team have been instrumental to the success of the company over the past 26 years,” said Craig Adelman, Chairman. “Under Bob’s direction, their accomplishments include the completion of 12 acquisitions, sales growth from $40 million to over $600 million and the creation of many opportunities for our 330 employees. Bob will transition from CEO to his new role throughout 2017 to focus more on company direction and strategy.”

Effective May 1, 2017, Andrew “Andy” McGraw will become CEO and board member of Adelman Travel.

McGraw has a diverse business background and extensive expertise in the travel space. Most recently, he was a partner at Altus Alliance, a revenue growth services firm. Prior to Altus Alliance, McGraw held senior positions in the SaaS and travel management space including Senior Vice President and head of revenue at Deem/Rearden Commerce; SVP and General Manager Worldwide Sales at American Express; and SVP, GM and head of North America at American Express Buisiness Travel. Prior to American Express, McGraw was VP Sales & Marketing at Travel One and Senior Managing Director at US Airways.

McGraw is a leader, skilled at building businesses, accelerating sales and revenue growth, understanding and listening to customers and motivating teams to achieve their goals. He brings a high level of energy and passion that translates to employees and customers.
