Due to adverse winter weather expected for the Hokkaido and Tohoku area of Japan travel to/from/through multiple airports including Sapporo Chitose may be impacted through Dec. 8. Some flights have already been proactively cancelled.
American, ANA and JAL airlines issued flexible rebooking policies for flights in the targeted area originally scheduled through Dec. 8
Other carriers may also offer waivers and other airports in the region could also be impacted by the storm. Check with your airline or your Adelman travel consultant for specific rebooking or cancelation options in regards to these waivers.
