Demonstrations which have turned violent have been occurring over the past several days in Port-au-Prince and other cities across Haiti. Protestors are demanding that Haitian president Jovenel Moise step down over corruption claims.

Delta Air Lines issued waivers for travel originally scheduled through Feb. 15.

Other carriers may follow suit as they evaluate the situation in regards to their operations.

Travelers are advised to not only check your airline flight status but should also monitor local conditions as additional protest associated violence could erupt at any time.
