Due to a threatened 24-hour strike by various transporation groups travel may be impacted around Italy on July 21.
British Airways issued waivers for travel originally scheduled to/from Pisa, Bologna or Florence on July 21. Rebooked travel must begin by July 25, 2018.
Other carriers may follow suit as they evaluate the situation in regards to their operations.
Travelers are advised to not only monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary but ground transportation arrangements should also be monitored as other public transportation may also be impacted.
