Because of the ongoing adverse conditions being experienced in western Japan due to heavy rains and flooding, Japan Airlines is allowing passengers to cancel or change flights to the airports listed below regardless of the carrier’s actual flight operation through August 5, 2018.
Applicable airports include: Hiroshima, Okayama, Matasuyama, and Kochi
Travelers should also note that the flooding and landslides have also caused significant disruption to ground transportation including rail services. Many bridges and roads have also been severely damaged.
