Travel Alerts

Security personal at Madrid airport announced that they will strike starting April 12. They have set no end date for the job action at this point.  The strike is expected to cause long delays for passengers at security screening check points. Travelers are thus advised to arrive at the airport earlier than usual.

Some reports indicate that strikes may spread across Spain as we approach the busy Easter travel season.  Travelers should monitor the situation for updates and reconfirm travel arrangements.
