Adverse winter weather is impacting travel in the in the Upper Midwest and Canada Feb. 8. Airlines have issued waivers which cover airports as follows:

Delta/KLM: Waivers cover multiple airports in Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin through Feb. 8.

Southwest: Waivers cover travel to Des Moines (DSM) and Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) through Feb. 8

WestJet: Waivers cover travel to Hamilton (YHM), Kitchener/Waterloo (YKF), Ottawa (YOW), Windsor (YQG), London (YXU), Toronto (YYZ), Quebec City (YQB), Montreal (YUL) and Thunder Bay (YQT)  through Feb. 8.

These airlines may add to their waivers lists or extend their validity dates. Other airports could be impacted and other airlines may offer waivers.

Check with your airline or your Adelman travel consultant for specific rebooking or cancelation options in regards to these waivers.

As a reminder flight delays at hub airports could cause a ripple effect for other flights around the country. Travelers are advised to monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary.
