Continued civil protests and violence over steep fuel price increases in Haiti prompted airlines to issue waivers as below:

American Airlines’ travel waiver is for flights to/from Cap Haitien and Port Au Prince, Haiti through July 17. Rebooked travel should occur by July 22, 2018.

Delta’s wavier covers flights to/from Port Au Prince through July 15. Travel should be rebooked by July 20 but can occur through August 1, 2018.

Current waivers may be further extended or other carriers may follow suit as they evaluate the situation in regards to their operations.

Travelers are advised to not only monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary but should also monitor the situation on the ground, being on the watch for demonstrations or other situations that could impact your safety or cause disruption.
