British Airways pilots returned to work after the first of two strikes. However, British Airways officials say that it will take some time to get back to a completely normal flight schedule so there will still be some disruptions over the next few days. British Airways is still offering impacted customers full refunds or the option to re-book to another date of travel or an alternative airline.

British Airlines still faces another strike on Sept. 27 if an agreement with the pilots union is not reached. The carrier said it will provide additional information “as soon as possible” and will post the updates at https://www.ba.com/strike.

Flights on BA CityFlyer, SUN-AIR and Comair are not affected.

Iberia has change waivers in place for their tickets that include travel scheduled on British Airways aircraft to London Heathrow and Gatwick airports for travel scheduled between Sept. 26-28. Other carriers may add waivers as the second strike date nears.
