Travel Alerts

Hurricane Humberto reached Category 2 in intensity on Tuesday morning. Further strengthening is expected prior to approaching Bermuda. While the track of Humberto may still vary, it will likely travel dangerously close to Bermuda around the middle and later part of the week. How severe conditions become and the potential for coastal flooding and battering waves will depend on the exact path and strength of the storm.

Airlines have issues waivers for travel to Bermuda as follows:

American and Delta: waivers include travel Sept. 16-19.

JetBlue:  waivers include travel Sept. 18-19.

WestJet: waivers include travel Sept. 19-21.

These waivers could be extended and other carriers may also offer flexible rebooking options.   Check with your airline or your Adelman travel consultant for specific rebooking or cancelation options in regards to these waivers.

Travelers are advised to monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary.
