Cabin crew members working for Lufthansa are set to go on strike Nov. 7-8.
Lufthansa has implemented a special flight plan to help minimize disruptions. Passengers on cancelled flights are being automatically rebooked and notified.
Lufthansa is also offering waivers for travelers flying to/from Frankfurt or Munich on Nov. 7-8 who may wish to change their plans. Besides booking flights on a different day, travelers can change their airline ticket to a train ticket without penalty at https://www.lufthansa.com/de/en/good-for-train.
United Airlines also issued waivers for travel Nov. 7-8. Airports include Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich.
Travelers are advised to monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary.
