A strike by security staff at Dusseldorf, Cologne-Bonn and Stuttgart airports is impairing operations. Significantly longer lines at baggage drops and security check points are being reported.
Airlines are asking passengers to arrive to the airport extra early. Carriers such as Lufthansa Group including Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and SWISS along with Delta, KLM, SAS and EasyJet are change waivers for flights to/from some or all of these airports on Jan. 10.
Other airlines may also offer flexible rebooking. Check with your airline or your Adelman travel consultant for specific information.
