Damage to infrastructure in the Florida panhandle in the wake of Hurricane Michael, has prompted airlines to extend rebooking waivers.
Carriers including American, Delta, Southwest and United have waivers in place for Panama City through various end dates through Oct. 21 depending on the airline.
Southwest also allows flexible rebooking for travel to Pensacola through Oct. 21.
These waivers could be further extended based on recovery efforts. Other carriers may also offer waivers.

Travelers are not only advised to monitor airline flight status with regards to your specific itinerary but should also monitor recovery efforts and conditions on the ground with regards to transportation or accommodations etc.
