As a wildfire continues to burn near the Duval-Nassau county line, near Jacksonville FL, I-95 has been closed in both directions, between I-295 in northern Duval County to SR-200 in Yulee. Detours are in place.
United Airlines issued a waiver for customers traveling to/from the Jacksonville airport May 24-25.
These waivers could be extended and other carriers may add their own exception policies as they evaluate conditions. Check with your airline or your Adelman travel consultant for specific rebooking and cancelation options.
Travelers are advised to monitor flight status along with conditions on the ground.
