San Francisco International Airport’s busiest runway section reopened to normal traffic Thursday night, 9/19  — a week ahead of schedule — after 12 days of 24-hour-a-day repairs. The airport and flights can now return to normal operations.

British Airlines pilots called off their strike set for  Sept. 27.
British Airways had already started cancelling flights for Sept. 27as of last Thursday but is now working to reinstate as many flights as possible British Airways said it will be in touch with customers who had been impacted. Balpa officals said it does retain the right to announce further strike dates if there is no progress on a suitable agreement to this on-going labor dispute.
